2008 was the The Fifth Annual Elkhorm Martial Arts Center Banquet. It was held again at Roma's in East Troy, WI. The theme this year was again Tropical, wishing for the end to winter. About 70 students, family and friends attended the festivities. A highlight of the evening was the "awards" ceremony with this years Gumby Award being decided by competition again at the banquet. Entertainment was provided by the banquet attendees who sang various Karaoke favorites. The evenings finale was the annual raffle with the grand prize of a Paul Chen Iaido Katana.
