Mr. Erikson started training in the martial arts in 1978 with the AKF Flying Dragons. When the Flying Dragons expanded to Burlington, Tim continued his training there. Tim earned his 1st degree Black Belt in 1981. He also trained at the UW-Madison TaeKwonDo Club. Tim joined the Army in 1982; while serving his country, he trained in full contact Karate at Fort Lewis, Washington, with Mr. Brian Magey and in Fulda, Germany, with Mr. Peter Spallek. Tim earned his 2nd degree Black Belt from the American Kyuki-Do Federation in 1990, his 3rd degree in 1993, and his 4th degree in 1998. Tim has been active in AKF functions throughout his career. The AKF Flying Dragons are proud to have Tim back teaching and sharing his experience in Elkhorn. |
